Giles Sutherland’s article in Ceramic Review (issue 269) about my kiln is now available here: Earth, Wood and Fire

This is a short film from a firing in 2012 which gives a glimpse of loading the last few (of 200 or so) pots into the  kiln, bricking up the wicket and the gentle but continuous stoking of the kiln over three days and two nights with my team of helpers. My Christmas Exhibition is a bit earlier that usual this year, over the weekend of 22nd/23rd November.

My basement studio at 27 High Street will be open from 10am-4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

I’m delighted to once again have a selection of newly turned, wooden bowls by Ralph Curry and, this year, to also have some new paintings by Steve Tossell.
